How to feed humans?
3/ Prioritize direct human consumption. Devote the majority of arable land to the production of direct food for the being human (cereals, fruits and vegetables, legumes) would increase the amount of calories produced per person by 50%, say the researchers.
Beans, lentils, soybeans and black beans are among the foods of the futurejust like adzuki beans, eaten in Asia and rich in B vitamins, potassium and protein, or even Bambara beans grown in particular in sub-Saharan Africa.
Agroecological agriculture and a change in diet: another response for feed 10 billion people
- reduce waste, which today is responsible for the loss of 30% of food (see point 1);
- limit competition between the production of food for humans and that for livestock.
Reproduction in Women and Men: How does it work? The physiology of ART is a unique process. The embryo is the fruit of the union of two gametes, one from the woman (the egg) and the other from the man (the sperm). Of the millions of sperm released during ejaculation, only one will fertilize the egg.
Although this whole process takes place continuously, its long duration (almost 80 days in total) has a great influence on the actual fertility of the man.
The cost of production has two main categories: Fixed costs are costs that remain the same regardless of the level of activity. Variable costs are costs that vary according to the level of production.
The factors of production. Other elements take part in several production cycles since they are not destroyed during the process. It’s about workers and machines. In economics, we speak of “factors of production” to designate the labor factor (the workers) and the capital factor (the machines).
