What forces inside the earth cause the rock cycle?
ROCKS METAMORPHICS rocks that lie in the depths of the Earth are subjected to intense heat and pressure. Over time, these strengths transform them rocks sedimentary or igneous into another type of rock that we call ” rock metamorphic”.
The rocks are not only used in the construction of walls as building stones, but in roofing, in facade cladding in the form of plates, in floor covering such as granites or gneiss, marbles…
The rock cycle is the process by which one type of rock changes into another. Originally, most rocks are igneous. Over time, wind and water break them down into sediment.
Rock cycle products can be seen across Canada. What do a computer, stove and sidewalk have in common? Sure, you might use all three of them every day, but they have one more thing in common. These three elements contain rocks!
Metamorphic rocks are igneous or sedimentary rocks whose structure has been modified under the effect of high temperatures or pressures to which they were subjected inside the earth, by the displacement of the earth’s crust or even as a result of radioactive decay.
