What is the difference between a bolt and a stud?
the stud replaces a bolt whose head would interfere in the mechanical assembly of parts or when the parts to be joined are very thick. the stud is also used as a replacement for the screw when the material of the part is not very resistant or when it is necessary to make frequent dismantling.
